      <image:title>About - Ryan Loiselle, MSW, LICSW has been working with grieving children, teens and families for over 25 years.</image:title>
      <image:caption>He received his undergraduate degree at the University of Rhode Island, with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies. He also received a minor in Psychology and Thanatology, study of death, dying and bereavement. He went on to Simmons College in Boston, MA and received his master in social work. Ryan was a volunteer facilitator at FRIENDS WAY for ten years and was the program director at FRIENDS WAY for 14 years before transitioning to his private practice full-time in January 2026. Prior to joining FRIENDS WAY, he worked at Merrimack Valley Hospice with a concentration in pediatric palliative care and children’s bereavement. He also served as the program director of “Jeff’s Place”, a bereavement center in Framingham, MA created by FRIENDS WAY founder, Jennifer Kaplan. Ryan has volunteered as a clinician at Experience Camps since 2009, a free, one-week boys’ bereavement camp in Maine. Additionally, he has presented at several conferences for NASW (National Association of Social Workers) and for NACG: National Alliance for Children’s Grief on children's bereavement. Ryan was appointed to the National Alliance for Children's Grief Board of Directors in January 2022.</image:caption>
